“scott muller is a game changer”

Scott Muller is Director of mbos consulting group pty ltd, a firm which has attracted clients from Australia’s major television networks & radio groups to public broadcasters, and ASX200 corporations to SMEs.

His results have been internationally recognised with awards for leadership, strategy, creativity & sustainability. He has spoken at universities in the UK and Australia, is on the Advisory Board to Pacific Retail Management, and is a Director of Radio Today.

Leading Nova FM to #1, Sydney

Scott led Nova to #1 – it remains the only FM station to reach #1 in over a decade. Under his direction Nova’s share grew to 12%, and it became the #1 FM radio station of its era.

In 2004 Nova broke ACRA Radio Award records – for the most awards to an individual station in history, and for winning every major category.

GWR Media Group: 1999-2001

As Network Program Controller for the largest commercial network in the UK (now owned by Global Radio), he oversaw Group Programming, and played leading roles in launching DAB digital radio and Planet Rock.

“Lights Out, London!” campaign

In 2007 Scott launched Europe’s largest media-led sustainability event, Lights Out London – and led millions of people to black out London’s lights for the first time since World War 2.

Capital Radio turnaround, UK

From 1999-2006 Capital’s audience halved, and Scott was hired to reverse the trend. The next 12 months saw 17% growth – its strongest since the 1990s.

Target audience grew 43%, Breakfast eclipsed 1 million reach and returned to #1, and Capital became London’s fastest growing station for under-40s.
